Yes... Starting now it is your choice.

The universe only gives us three options:

1. Fear objections; avoid seeking commitment, feel paralyzed when others resists... give up what you want and need to protect your relationships.

2. Try clumsy or bull-headed techniques that often destroy your relationships.

3. Master Resistance and turn Objections into an Opportunity to build your Relationships and get you more of what you want and need.

I know all of these feelings. We are very much alike.

At first I was afraid and intimidated by objections, I felt fear and rejection when people expressed resistance to my requests, and I did not know what to do to maintain the relationship and keep moving toward the outcome I wanted so I began to avoid... I began to sabotage my own success!

So I bought the books and tapes and out of frustration I started to just keep pushing and pushing until I got what I wanted but I usually wasted the possibility of a good relationship with my clumsy pushing.

This was back in the 1980’s (Yep that has been a while ago). I was a campaign consultant and very involved in the political world. In the political world I attended numerous training programs including the White House.

During this time I was introduced to a whole new set of rules... a new playing field for the game of life. I caught a glimpse of a new technology that combined neuro-biology, psychology, and language. I was blown away.

What I saw was like the Holy Grail of persuasion and influence.

Hold on, this is not some flash-in-the-pan, get rich quick story... I had to really work to first understand and then learn how to apply this technology in the business world.

Today, when it comes to objections I feel confident, capable, and at ease.

Do you instantly know what to say when someone says "NO" or "I am not interested"? Do you know how to say it and become better friends in the process?

Do you immediately know what to do when someone says, "I’ll have to think about it"? Can you move toward your objective and keep the relationship growing?

Wait a minute, I am not trying to make you feel bad. Everyone has to learn these skills because so much of what we want in life comes from our ability to connect with and persuade others.

Making money - persuasion

Raising kids - persuasion

Returning a purchase - persuasion

Hosting a party with friends - persuasion

Getting help for yourself or another in a crisis - persuasion

Getting the best deal on a large purchase - persuasion

So much in life requires that we all, every one of us, persuade others to get what we want and need.
